Respect

Here's my first picture of young Taka with his father, Ahadi.

Ahadi is teaching his son about being the good leader of the lion guard.
Taka believes in himself too much that his team is starting to question on his role as their leader...
In fact, his decision is always right at the end, he is one smart lion.
And this point makes him feels even more confident and really believe that he's better than all his friends.
He also believes that his team should respect him in every way.

That is when the teamwork is starting to lose its unity.

As the king, he must do something about it before it's lead to a bigger problem in the future. 
And teaching his son about the true meaning of the word "Respect"

A story about Ahadi's scar: 

    In my story, Ahadi got his scar from a fight with his father in law, Mohatu.
There was a time when he was just a teen rogue wondering from his home (Sahara) seeking fortune.
He accidentally got into Prideland and almost get killed by Mohatu (He also have a big scar on his neck, but his mane cover it all when he's growing up)
Ahadi at that time didn't know about the rule of Prideland and have no knowledge about the circle of life. He came from a very rough place like Sahara desert,
all he knows there are hard life and hunger.
By seeing a heard of animals in Prideland made him become greedy. His fear of hunger drive him crazy and he starting to take down as many animals as he can...
Strong teen killed more than he really needs.

Old king Mohatu heard the news and immediately take action to stop this dangerous rogue.
But when Ahadi almost dies by Mohatu, Rafiki's mother sees him from her omen just in time to stop the king from killing the teen rogue.
She claims that the king of the past has mercy on this rogue and want the pride to take him in...

After Ahadi recovered from the deathly wound. Mohatu teaches him about the rules of this land and Circle of life.
Ahadi gave the old king a hard time for a while... but the king's hard work and kindness finally win the harsh of this young lion at last.
the teen rogue become a good friend to Mohatu's daughter, young Uru... (Well, we all know what happen next)
As the time pass, Ahadi is like a son to both Mohatu and his Mate. After Mohatu's death, Ahadi who's Uru's mate becomes a king of Prideland.
